For the longer lasting rafting thrill look no further than Rangitata Rafts. With 2.5 hours on the water we offer longer rafting time than most one day NZ rafting trips. It is also here that you will experience one of New Zealand's Top quality rafting adventures with a Lord of the Rings mountain backdrop and your professional rafting guide at the helm.
Excitement for everyone - with a variety of rapids ranging from sedate grade 1 & 2 through to the exhilarating grade 5 (with the option to walk around any rapids with our photographer if preferred). No previous experience required. And for those who really want to test their nerves we add an optional 'leap of faith' from a jump rock for you.
We have the time to ensure that have an amazing day, rafting, scenery, meals and friendly fun atmosphere which people rave about. Lunch is served at our beautifully located lodge before we introduce you to some exciting white water rafting, return back to our lodge for refreshing hot showers and enjoy a delicious BBQ with everyone back at our lodge while you watch your action photos.
We make it easy for Magic Passengers. The perfect adventure stop when you travel from Lake Tekapo to Christchurch. We will meet your bus Geraldine and transport you to our lodge. At the end of the day we will transport you back to Christchurch so that you can meet back up with your bus. Discount price for Magic is $208pp (normally $225pp)
