MAGIC MILFORD DISCOVERY
HOMER TUNNEL, MITRE PEAK, FIORD CRUISES
On one of your free days in Queenstown, we highly recommend taking the full day trip to Milford Sound, perhaps New Zealand's most famous destination. This fantastic day trip will see you travelling alongside the beautiful Lake Wakatipu and Lake Te Anau then through Fiordland National Park - all the while passing incredible scenery. The road journey itself is a highlight of the trip and includes numerous photo opportunities. When we arrive in Milford Sound we take a superb cruise on the fiord, past thunderous waterfalls and hanging valleys. Keep an eye out for the endangered wildlife that can often be seen basking in the sun on rocky outcrops. This trip is awe-inspiring whatever the weather. In fact, the more rain there is the more spectacular the waterfalls are!
