Catlins
Spend the day travelling along one of New Zealand’s most remote coastlines – the southeast region of the South Island. Start your journey in either Invercargill or Te Anau, and travel along the Southern Scenic Route. The scenery is fantastic – view remote surf beaches, lush native bush, waterfalls and panoramic headlands such as Nugget Point. One of the highlights is the amazing wildlife that inhabits the area. You may have the chance to observe three of the world’s rarest sea mammals – the New Zealand Sealion, Yellow Eyed Penguin and Hector Dolphin. The journey takes a minimum of one day to complete, and you rejoin the Magic coach in Dunedin.
