Hanmer Springs

Connect a side trip to Hanmer Springs to your Magic pass. The thermal properties of the water in this area were first discovered in 1859, and for many years, segregated nude bathing was the practise! Happily nowadays mixed ‘clothed’ bathing is allowed. The waters are mostly used for recreation, but throughout history has also been a centre for injured soldiers and relief for the arthritic and disabled.

Alternatively, if you feel like a bit more adventure, Hanmer also offers bungy jumping, jet boating and rafting at Thrill Seekers canyon.
